AMARÉ
CÉLINE RUDOLPH – VOICE
HENRIQUE GOMIDE – PIANO
JOÃO LUÍS NOGUEIRA – ACOUSTIC GUITAR
AMARÉ is a trio that navigates between the rich heritage of Brazilian music and the expansive freedom of jazz improvisation. Their debut album is set for Oct 10th 2025 on Challenge Records. Their name reflects a duality between – A Maré/ the tide and Amar é…/ to love is… On stage, AMARÉ generates an atmosphere that’s both immersive and electrifying – where moments of deep introspection meet bursts of wild, untamed energy. Their performances resonate with a sense of familiarity while pushing boundaries, offering a fresh take on modern jazz infused with the pulse of Brazil’s musical heartbeat. Besides original compositions the trio revisits gems by Brazilian composers such as João Donato, Gilberto Gil, Toninho Horta and Cartola with a lot of improvisation and fiery rhythms.
“The audience responds with appreciative whistles and loud cheers after just the first part of the concert. The atmosphere is electrifying, and there is a palpable sense of connection between the listeners and the musicians.”
– WAZ

CÉLINE RUDOLPH’S
SONIQS
CÉLINE RUDOLPH – VOICE, GIT, PERC
SEBASTIAN MERK – DR, KEYS, ELECTRONICS
REGIS MOLINA – ALTO SAX, FLUTE, PERC
POVEL WIDESTRAND – PIANO, SYNTH
With her current band SONIQS, Céline Rudolph has ventured into new territory. This music is more electronically grounded and offers greater openness in terms of song format and interpretative possibilities, especially in a live context. One feels as if one can listen through the poems, lines and fields of tonal colors. The sounds of voice, alto sax, flute, keys, electronics, and drums permeate each other in an osmotic trance. Accompanied by live generated video art.
“An electroacoustic sound cosmos full of constant discoveries”
– Josef Engels, RONDO
“A beautiful new album firmly within Céline Rudolph’s new electronic tradition“
– Götz Bühler, JazzThing Mixtape

CÉLINE RUDOLPH &
LIONEL LOUEKE
CÉLINE RUDOLPH – VOICE, GUITAR
LIONEL LOUEKE – GUITAR, VOICE
A singer playing the guitar. A guitarist who sings. These two exceptional characters show that in music, too, the whole can be bigger than the sum of its parts. Their common “obsession” opens up musical horizons, sounds like jazz and singer-songwriter-elegance, a trip from Cotonou via Rio to Memphis and Berlin. It is music that speaks of the passion that loves, of deep moments, of life, blues and pleasure. This duo, which at least sounds like a band, sometimes even as an orchestra, sings ten delightfully spontaneous favorite songs, sometimes in English, sometimes in French, sometimes in the fantastic Célinish or Lionelish.
“The two international jazz artists offered music fans in Lagos, a very hypnotic escapism from the fever-pitch city life.”
– THISDAYLIVE, Nigeria
“The duo brought the Grand Hall of the Elbphilharmonie to life with their very special blend of jazz, African sounds, and South American influences.“

“Brazilian Jazz Sensation”
– Music Is My Sanctuary
“Céline has sung us into a trance just like she herself is entirely immersed in her music and flies with it as in a trance. In Céline’s manner of singing, her Brazilian soul becomes obvious.”
– Roberto Gambini, São Paulo

CÉLINE RUDOLPH
BAND
CÉLINE RUDOLPH – VOICE
& PIANO TRIO
With the classic format voice plus piano trio, Céline sings whatever song comes to her mind. It’s not about the what, but the how: Playfully dancing between vocal and instrumental roles in the blink of an eye, united by a voice that embraces the world, she carries the audience on a journey to rediscover the essence of music. Line-up depends on the country.
“Creative modern jazz that is both
accessible and unpredictable.”
– Scott Yanow, LA Jazz Scene
“With her latest album, Céline Rudolph unveils herself once more as one of the
outstanding voices in German jazz.”
