AMARÉ navigates between the rich heritage of Brazilian music and the expansive freedom of jazz improvisation. Their highly acclaimed album was named one of BR Klassik’s Top Ten albums of 2025 and was praised by the broadcaster as ‘a magical sonic world, at once complex and accessible.’
On stage, AMARÉ generates an atmosphere that’s both immersive and electrifying – where moments of deep introspection meet bursts of wild, untamed energy. Their performances resonate with a sense of familiarity while pushing boundaries, offering a fresh take on modern jazz infused with the pulse of Brazil’s musical heartbeat. Besides original compositions the trio revisits gems by Brazilian composers and performers such as João Donato, Gilberto Gil, Toninho Horta and Cartola with a lot of improvisation and fiery rhythms.

Céline Rudolph Berlin-based vocalist whose work dissolves boundaries between jazz, Brazilian music, African rhythm, and European art song, has received multiple ECHO Jazz awards and the 2024 Deutscher Jazzpreis. She has recorded with Naná Vasconcelos, Lionel Loueke, Leo Genovese, Gary Peacock and Till Brönner and shared the stage with Bobby McFerrin, Burniss Travis, Pau Brasil and Ivan Lins. Praised as „one of the most beautiful European jazz voices“ by Stefan Franzen, she has played the Jarasum International Jazz Festival (South Korea), Memorial da América Latina (São Paulo), Centro Cultural de Belém (Lisboa), Elbjazz Festival (Hamburg), Nijmegen Music Meeting (Netherlands) and New Morning (Paris).
Henrique Gomide Brazilian pianist known for his refined touch and lyrical clarity. Leader of the acclaimed trio Caixa Cuba, he has performed at Jazz à Vienne (France), Riverboat Jazz Festival (Denmark), Auditório Ibirapuera (Brazil), and Ronny Scott’s (London). He teaches jazz piano at ArtEZ Conservatory in the Netherlands and collaborated with Tony Lakatos, John Ruocco, Guinga and Yamandu Costa.
João Luís Nogueira guitarist, composer, and rhythmic architect. Active across Europe, he has performed with Viktoria Mullova, Uli Beckerhoff, and leading names in Brazilian music, including recording with Lula Galvão. He has played at Nica Jazz Club (Hamburg) and Zig Zag (Berlin). His playing is both rooted and exploratory.
